Privacy Policy
for the app “Zuckerzauber” and this website · Last updated: 2 October 2026
This is a translation of the German privacy policy. Both versions have the same content.

2. In short
Zuckerzauber itself does not collect any personal data. There is no user account and no analytics, and I receive no data about you. You only see ads if you start them yourself to get extra moves. For this the app uses Google AdMob (section 5). The game also works without an internet connection.
3. Game progress on your device
Your game progress (for example unlocked levels, stars, gems, boosters, tasks and settings) is stored only locally on your device. I have no access to it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, your progress is deleted as well.
If you have turned on Android backup in your Google account, Android may back up this app data together with your other device data in your Google account, so your progress can be restored on a new device. You control this backup yourself in the Android settings; Google’s privacy policy applies.
4. In-game purchases
You can optionally buy gems, the piggy bank and the Magic Pass through Google Play’s billing system. Google handles the payment; the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service apply. I do not receive any payment data such as card numbers. The app only receives a purchase confirmation with a purchase ID from Google Play, so it can credit your purchase and prevent double credits. This ID stays on your device.
The legal basis is the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
5. Optional ads (Google AdMob)
When you run out of moves in a level, you can choose to watch a short video ad and get five extra moves in return. There are no other ads in the game. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
So that ads can be loaded, shown, billed and protected against abuse, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app sends data directly to Google, in particular your IP address (which can be used to estimate your approximate location), the advertising ID and other identifiers of your device, device and app information (for example model, Android version, language), interactions with the ads (for example whether a video was watched) and technical diagnostic data. The transfer is encrypted. I do not receive this data myself, only aggregated ad statistics that do not relate to individual people.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app uses Google’s consent dialog to ask whether Google may store or access information on your device and use it for personalized ads. The legal basis for this is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). If you decline, Google only shows non-personalized or limited ads. Where no consent is required, the processing is based on my legitimate interest in offering the game for free and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the game settings under “Ad privacy settings”.
Google may also transfer data to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in the Android settings. More on how Google uses data from apps: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. App permissions
The app uses the internet connection for purchases through Google Play and for the optional ads, the advertising ID for Google AdMob ads, and vibration for game effects (can be turned off in the game settings).
7. Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). I delete the message once it has been dealt with, unless legal retention obligations apply.
8. This website
When you visit these pages, my hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type in server log files, in order to deliver the pages and keep the server secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short time. These pages do not set cookies, do not use analytics or advertising services and do not load content from other servers; the font is hosted on the same server.
9. Children
The app itself does not collect personal data from children either. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages. You can protect purchases in the Google Play settings with a confirmation, or through Google Family Link.
10. Your rights
You have the rights under the GDPR, in particular the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (in the game settings under “Ad privacy settings”). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Since the app does not transfer any data about you to me, I generally cannot provide information about game or ad data; for data held by Google, please contact Google. Feel free to write to me at the address above.
11. Changes
If the app changes, for example through new features, I will update this policy. The version published here applies.
